This is such a great depiction of abusive toxic relationships and how sometimes it's really hard to stay together with someone you really love, but you both can't stop hurting each other over and over. No matter what you always feel tied to that person that harmed you and you were no better sometimes. Takes time to unravel the ugly truth you experienced in the past realizing how bad it actually was can make you feel uncomfortable. But that's part of growing up. Dealing with rough times, while being vulnerable, and how you respond to it. I'm still learning how to navigate this ever so bleak hostile world. But I promise you, there is good things. Wonderful loving communities are out there. But you gotta be brave sometimes, not be afraid to ask for help, and fight for things you want and. You're one of my favorite artists James ever since you debut album. Such great work.

Just saw him live in Portland last night. He played this song. This song got me through one of the hardest and most traumatic times in my life. I was overseas for 3 months, mostly on my own.
